Joe Slessinger, MBA, is a seasoned pro in government contracting with over 13 years of experience. As Portfolio Director at Spartan Shield Solutions, Joe leverages his extensive knowledge in the information technology and services sector to drive financial strategy and growth. He is incredibly proud of his role in the company’s inclusion on the Inc. 5000 list as one of America’s fastest-growing private companies, with a remarkable 197% growth over three years. Joe asserts that he’s better with numbers than words, which his sharp financial decisions back up.
Before joining the Spartan team, Joe was Deputy CFO at MOSAIC Technologies Group. He obtained his bachelor’s in accounting and an MBA from Shippensburg University. Originally from Westminster, MD, Joe now lives in Shrewsbury, PA.
Off the clock, Joe loves spending time with his wife and three kids, cooking, and watching or playing various sports, including golf and lacrosse. He was once the head coach of the high school varsity boys lacrosse team at Dallastown Area Senior High and jokes that if accounting hadn’t come calling, he’d be a pro athlete.
